(Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20090119/CLM055-b )

The 27 thousand square feet new facility, made possible by an investment
of $9 million, is the first in North America carrying Ferrari cars only.

This important opening represents the pinnacle of a larger investment that
Ferrari has been undertaking in Florida.

In recent months Ferrari of Central Florida, the Orlando dealership, has
undergone an important restructuring; so has The Collection, the Ferrari
dealership in Miami.

Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale is about to complete a multi-million dollar
renovation, and the opening of a brand new dealership in West Palm Beach is
expected by year-end.

Florida is the third largest market for Ferrari North America, accounting
for more than 12% of its sales in 2008.

Ferrari North America, with 36 dealerships in the US, 4 in Canada and 9 in
Central and South America, wants to offer to its customers an environment
similar to the one they would have by visiting the ever-renovating Ferrari
factory in Maranello.

Following this philosophy, Ferrari North America’s dealer network has
invested in the past two years $70 + million in new facilities, as well as in
renovating the existing ones.

Knickerbocker Ice Festival to Showcase Green Technologies and Strategies

Hydrogen-powered GM Chevy Equinox on display at Knickerbocker Ice Festival

BEAR MOUNTAIN, N.Y., Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ — The Palisades Interstate Park Commission (PIPC) announced that the Knickerbocker Ice Festival (www.knickerbockericefestival.com, January 24-25, 2009), the kickoff event for the Hudson Valley Quadricentennial, will feature green transportation and demos for attendees courtesy of General Motors. Attendees can see and learn more about Chevrolet Equinox fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV), powered by hydrogen.

“Hydrogen, the most abundant element in the universe, can be made from renewable sources, such as wind and solar power. GM believes that the use of biofuels, hybrids, battery-electric vehicles, and fuel cells can significantly reduce emissions and reduce our dependence on foreign energy supplies,” said Christopher Colquitt of General Motors.

The Solar Center (www.TheSolarCenter.com), of Rockaway, NJ, and independent solar consultant Tom O’ Reilly of Pearl River, NY, are setting up a solar energy lighting project at the ice sculptures and the ice gallery. NYS DOT has installed two solar-powered traffic signs outside both entrances giving information about the event.

“Greening” events is part of the State Parks system’s overall initiative to operate in a more environmentally sustainable way. Part of that initiative will be the use of biodegradable utensils during the Ice Festival.

“We will be using and composting biodegradable bowls and spoons. This helps promote the use of ‘green’ products and reduces the amount of trash that would otherwise go to a landfill or incinerator,” said Rich Schiafo, NYS Parks and Recreation Sustainability Coordinator.

“Ice Festival visitors can see one of the greenest vehicles around, with the knowledge that much of the waste generated at the event will be turned into compost and reused. We’re all trying every day to do what we can to make our lives a little greener, and GM, The Solar Center, and the DOT’s efforts represent a big step forward in the greening of America,” said Timothy Englert, development specialist, PIPC.

The Knickerbocker Ice Festival, which celebrates the Rockland Lake’s history as the epicenter of the ice industry during the 19th century, begins the year-long celebration marking the first historic voyages up the Hudson River. There will be plenty of parking and restroom facilities available.

Cars.com Reports Increase in Car-Shopping Activity in New Year

January 19, 2009 · Leave a Comment

CHICAGO, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ — Several key audience statistics measured
on Cars.com show positive gains to start the New Year, a sign that consumers
who were taking a “wait and see” approach to car buying because of the economy
might now be coming back to market.

“While we are looking at a relatively short period of data, we are seeing
lifts in several key metrics that correlate with purchase behavior — an
encouraging sign for dealers looking for a rebound after a tough close to
2008,” said Mitch Golub, president of Cars.com. “Based on activity we saw in
the first full business week of the year on Cars.com, we are optimistic that
automotive sales will pick up in the first quarter of 2009.”

Measures of consumers entering the car-shopping process appear to be
improving, based on key site metrics on Cars.com for the first workweek of
2009.

— More consumers are going to Cars.com; site visits are up 19 percent
over the same time last year. Consumers are more engaged in the process: Time
spent per visit is up 8 percent since December and 12 percent over a year ago;
it’s now 15 minutes for each visit.*1

— Searches conducted are up 19 percent since December, and searches for
new cars are up 16 percent over a year ago.

— Leads submitted to dealers are up 18 percent over December and up 8
percent over a year ago.

In addition, Cars.com also has had record visits to its mobile site, with
vehicle searches via mobile devices up 30 percent over December. A recent
survey conducted by Cars.com showed that 39 percent of consumers who accessed
Cars.com through their mobile device were on a dealer lot shopping for a car
when they did so.

“While it is still early to tell if this trend will continue, we are
encouraged to see such solid year-over-year gains, especially since last
January was a strong month. We see all of these measures as positive signs
for the automotive business as we head into the New Year,” Golub said.

Identifix(R) Partners With AutoNetTV to Provide Monthly Video Tips for Auto Service Center Technicians

January 19, 2009 · Leave a Comment

ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ — Identifix(R), (www.identifix.com) one of the nation’s premier sources of online and hotline diagnostic and repair information, today announced that it has partnered with AutoNetTV, to provide video content for its Pro Channel. The Identifix Tip of the Month will include valuable information on how to diagnose and fix tough vehicle repair problems. It will be broadcast each month on the AutoNetTV Pro Channel, viewed by owners and team members at approximately 4,700 English-speaking service centers throughout North America. The channel provides business and marketing insights, technical training, and other industry-specific messages devoted to the professionals working in the automotive aftermarket.

“We are thrilled to include the Identifix Tip of the Month on the Pro Channel for the technicians, and others working at our subscriber locations,” says AutoNetTV co-founder, Sean Whiffen. “We’ve been fortunate to work with some of the best content partners out there, like CBS and Identifix, to make the AutoNetTV and Pro Channel programs entertaining, educational and motivating. Identifix has a great track record of identifying problems and providing solutions for vehicle repairs. We are sure the owners and staff will look forward to the Tip of the Month segment.”

The Identifix Tips of the Month are hosted by Jim Newkirk, an Identifix master certified technician, the Identifix European carline team leader and Direct-Hit product specialist. Newkirk brings over 32 years of diagnostic experience and has worked for Identifix Repair Hotline for 15 years. Identifix will provide a tip segment each month, and the first of 12 will air in February. Each Identifix Tip of the Month is a known fix from the Identifix Hotline Archives(TM), which are designed to help technicians across North America diagnose and fix tough problems on the vehicles that they encounter.

Identifix collects and stores known good fixes in what is referred to as a Hotline Archive. A Hotline Archive contains the information and tests a technician will need to diagnose problems on all types of vehicles and systems in one easy to read and use document. They can shortcut diagnostic time and get the technician to a solution quickly and accurately. Each Hotline Archive starts with the vehicle description, mileage and a short description of the customer concern. It then walks the technician through the Confirmed Fix(TM). A Confirmed Fix is the result of a technician using a Hotline Archive to fix a problem, confirming exactly how they were able to fix their specific problem.

When validated by an Identifix technician, the Confirmed Fix is then added to the Hotline Archive making it even more valuable, because experience-based fix information is added to the Hotline Archive. These Confirmed Fixes provide unique experience-based diagnostic information and are extremely useful to technicians searching for a quick fix for a vehicle.

The Identifix Tip of the Month will provide technicians with a monthly selection of real world test information and Confirmed Fixes contained in Hotline Archives.

“We are very excited to partner with AutoNetTV.com. Video is such a great medium to communicate how to diagnose and fix tough problems faster and more accurately. By using Identifix, a shop is able to see whether other shops are observing similar problems on vehicles. The shop can then take advantage of the short cut tests created by our master technicians and use likely causes to find fixes faster,” said Jeff Sweet, Identifix President.

Bosch Technologies Improve Safety, Performance of 2009 Chevrolet Traverse

January 19, 2009 · Leave a Comment

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ — With a push for the “next
generation of transportation” at this week’s 2009 North American International
Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Bosch is helping General Motors bring safety,
comfort and performance to consumers through its innovative technologies.

Bosch is supplying its electronic stability control (ESC) and transmission
electro-hydraulic control module (TEHCM) to the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse.

Safety and Comfort

The 2009 Chevrolet Traverse, winner of the Insurance Institute for Highway
Safety’s (IIHS) highest safety honor, comes standard with the StabiliTrak
Electronic Stability Control System featuring Bosch ESC technology.

“Bosch is an industry leader in safety technology,” explained Dr. Kay
Stepper, director of marketing and product planning, Chassis Systems Controls
Division, Robert Bosch LLC. “This is a great opportunity to partner with
General Motors to provide key elements for the ‘next generation of
transportation.’”

Bosch’s ESC technology is an active safety system that detects vehicle
instability or loss of vehicle control. In these critical situations, ESC
instantly intervenes to keep the vehicle on course. The system includes
sensors that constantly monitor and compare a vehicle’s actual behavior with
the driver’s intention. When instability is detected, ESC triggers the
appropriate response, helping the driver maintain control.

In addition, the Chevy Traverse comes equipped with Bosch transmission
electro-hydraulic control technology, which provides enhanced driver comfort
through fast and smooth shifting. The Electronic Hydraulic Module integrates
the microhybrid control unit, actuators and sensors to provide a thoroughly
tested modular unit installed directly inside the Traverse’s six-speed
transmission. Each unit is fully calibrated, matched and tested, offering
greater reliability and advantages in cost and weight.

“We work with our customers to develop transmission products and software
solutions that are adapted for each specific manufacturer’s performance
requirements,” said Sujit Jain, regional president, Gasoline Systems North
America, Robert Bosch LLC. “We are excited to be a part of this unique vehicle
that will carry GM into the next generation of crossovers.”

The Bosch Group is a leading global supplier of technology and services.
In the areas of automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods, and
building technology, some 271,000 associates generated sales of 46.3 billion
euros (over $63 billion) in fiscal 2007. The Bosch Group comprises Robert
Bosch GmbH and its more than 300 subsidiaries and regional companies in
roughly 50 countries. This worldwide development, manufacturing, and sales
